  20. These are all possible points in the menu. Normally you only see the points
  21. which you can execute because of your user level or which make sense for the
  22. current action.

  24. In the following you find an exact description of the several commands:
  25.  
  26. CA = Change Area                    In the several areas there are files with
  27.                                     the same topic. Entering CA you get a
  28.                                     listing of all the areas with number and
  29.                                     short summary and the minimum security
  30.                                     level you need to enter the area. After
  31.                                     this there is a prompt for the area wanted.
  32.  
  33. CD = Change Directory               With this command you can change to a sub-
  34.                                     directory. Here you have to know the name
  35.                                     of the directory. So it is necessary to
  36.                                     make a list first. Now you are prompted
  37.                                     to enter the name of the respective sub-
  38.                                     directory.
  39.  
  40. CS = Chat SysOp                     This function makes a bell ringing on the
  41.                                     BBS host to call the sysop. If the sysop is
  42.                                     ready you find yourself in the chat mode.
  43.                                     If the sysop is not available you get a
  44.                                     message. Now you can leave a private mail
  45.                                     to him (sysop user number 5).

  47. DE = Delete Directories or Files    This command deletes directories or files.
  48.                                     After you have entered the respective name
  49.                                     you get a message if you were successful.
  50.                                     To be able to do this you need at least
  51.                                     security_level 90.

  53. LI = List Directories and Files     With this command you get a listing of all
  54.                                     directories and files with description (if
  55.                                     available) in a requested order. At first
  56.                                     the directories are listed with a + before
  57.                                     the name followed by the files with a -
  58.                                     before the name.

  60. MD = Make Directories               With this command you can make directories.
  61.                                     After you have entered the new directory
  62.                                     name you get a message if you were success-
  63.                                     ful. After that you get a prompt for a
  64.                                     description of the directory but you can
  65.                                     go on with enter. For this action you need
  66.                                     at least security_level 60.

  68. MM = Main Menu                      With this command you can get back from
  69.                                     this board to the main menu.

  71. RB = Read Bulletin                  With this command you can read all avail-
  72.                                     able bulletins. Because you have to enter
  73.                                     the file name you need to make a list.

  75. RE = Rename Directories or Files    With this command you can change the name
  76.                                     of a directory or file. First you have to
  77.                                     enter the current name. After this the new
  78.                                     name is asked. To do this you need at least
  79.                                     security_level 70.

  81. SC = Set Directory or File Comment  With this command you can modify, delete or
  82.                                     complete the descriptions of the director-
  83.                                     ies or files. After entering the respective
  84.                                     directory or file name a new description
  85.                                     can be written. To do this you need at
  86.                                     least security_level 40.

  88. WB = Write Bulletin                 After you have entered the file name and
  89.                                     the description you can write the bulletin.
  90.                                     For this action you need at least
  91.                                     security_level 50.
